Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at Arrowhead Lake in Woodruff, Wisconsin. I spent three weeks there and enjoyed this view nearly every day.

Time

This was taken in late afternoon in mid-summer.

Lighting

The sun was shining over my left shoulder.

Equipment

Taken freehand with a Canon T3i using a Tamron 16-400 mm lens.

Inspiration

The water was calm and the reflected image was very clear.

Editing

No post processing.

In my camera bag

Monopod, 50mm f1.4, 55-200mm f3.5/6,5, filters (seldom used), macro lens stack, Canon flash, lens hoods, spare batteries, cleaners, etc.

Feedback

Frame the shot to capture equal views above and below the shoreline. Adjust aperture to get equal exposure above and below shoreline.
