Behind The Lens

Location

I am a self taught photographer who started out by taking photos through mobile cameras. Once I upgraded my phone, I also upgraded myself to a proper camera. I was in Bali, visiting a Monkey Temple along a cliffside and since the monkeys were a little too friendly and like to steal from you, I only took the minimal equipment and used my phone camera (Samsung Note 8)

Time

We were there most of the day so this photo was taken around 12pm.

Lighting

The lighting is all natural sunlight.

Equipment

I used my phone camera at the time.

Inspiration

I was taking photos of just about everything at the Monkey Temple when I looked over the cliffside and just saw the beauty in how overtime, erosion and weather can create such beautiful landscapes.

Editing

No, I did not.

In my camera bag

Under normal circumstances, I would of taken my Nikon D5600 with my lens: 18mm-55mm, 55mm-200mm, 2nd Battery, charger and tripod.

Feedback

I recommend going to Bali for the different culture, beautiful landscapes and animals and traditions. If you visit the Bali Monkey Cliffside Temple, be cautious of the monkeys as they do try to steal things from you, pack light and keep one eye open around you. I used a phone camera at time but any camera will capture the beauty present.
