I took this photo en route to Chandigarh, starting from Roorkee (in India).Time
It was a lazy sleepy afternoon and retro songs were playing in the background. Indian bus drivers have an amazing never ending retro playlist.Lighting
Although it was daylight so there was plenty of light, but the road was shadowed by the trees. To add to this, the bus was quite shaky and it was really hard to capture a stable shot and get everything in focus. So I tried to stabilized my hand in such a way that the camera was at a fixed height from the ground even though the bus was shaking a lot.Equipment
This photo was shot on Nikon D5500 f/5.6 1/1000s ISO-100. Ironically, I was going to Chandigarh to return this camera to my brother.Inspiration
Since childhood, I've been lucky enough to make a lot of road trips. And every time I'm on the road, I'm just hanging out the window or looking at the road straight ahead, wondering about the seemingly endless road which does actually lead to somewhere. Also, as I was actually going to return the camera that I had borrowed from my brother, I wanted to click as much as possible.Editing
As the bus ride was bumpy, the photo was not aligned with the horizontal. Hence, I straightened it a little. Moreover, photos in daylight are usually pretty washed out. Hence, I had to dehaze the photo overall. In my camera bag
