This was taken on a sidewalk of a bridge. It was raining with very strong winds and due to cold there fog on my camera lens and it was all wet. Still I wanted to keep clicking photos and I saw this lady was walking in front of me. At that very moment I formed a picture like this in my mind and Voila!

I shot this photo on the Troitskiy bridge in Saint Petersburg while returning back to my hostel after a visit to the Winter Palace.Time
This was taken around 7:00 p.m. in May. At this time of the year, there are white nights in Saint Petersburg because it is never completely dark. As I was returning from a museum I had the camera in my hand (although it was raining). The bridge itself was very beautiful.Lighting
As the camera was getting wet due to rain, there was fog in front of the lens. First I tried to clear it off, but then I realized that the photos that I clicked through the fog were hazy and gave a heavenly feeling to each photo, and hence, I proceeded to click photos with haze in front of the lens, which gave a magical effect to each photo.Equipment
I actually don't own a camera, this was shot on Nikon D3300 (18-55 mm lens) that I borrowed from my cousin for the trip. No other equipment was used.Inspiration
This was the first time that I visited Saint Petersburg and I wanted to capture everything possible and was really excited about everything. As I was walking above the bridge, and it was raining heavily, I feel really strange and fragile. And hence, that feeling, I tried to capture in this photo.Editing
With all my photographs I try to stick with as low post-processing as possible. In this photo, I have added a Brown-ish hue to the whole picture and applied a slight vignette to focus attention on the subject. In my camera bag
As said earlier, currently I don't have my own gear and usually borrow it from others. Hence, I have to go with whatever's available. But yes, I never forget to keep my Sony DSC-H55 digicam with me. Although it is almost 10 years old and can't produce high-quality images as per today's standards, it helps me to get different perspectives for shots.Feedback
Going with the flow helps. It doesn't matter what condition you are in, or what condition your gear is in, there is always a possibility to click something amazing. Just keep in mind that being true to yourself to depict feelings in a genuine way possible will inevitably lead to great photos. Keep clicking!
