Behind The Lens

Location

This photo is taken at the noble estate "De Wiersse" in Vorden in the east of the Netherlands. The owner is from English origin and is married to a Dutch noble woman. The gardens of the estate are very well kept and are opened for the public a few times a year. I live at a few kilometres from the estate.

Time

In the afternoon at 13:00 hours.

Lighting

Aperture priority was used.

Equipment

The camera was a Sony A900, lens Sony Carl Zeiss F2.8 24-70 mm, no tripod, no flash.

Inspiration

I wanted a dramatic effect and the clouds in the sky were just right at that moment.

Editing

Yes, PS CS6. Conversion to B&W and then mixing some colors to get the black roses.

In my camera bag

At the moment I use mostly a Sony A99II, sometimes the older Sony A900 en Sony RX100 M3.
