I didn’t a fabulous hour or two at my local beach cafe watching the kite surfers and windsurfers do their stuff. They liked me photographing them and made several opportunities for me to get some action shots. Never done it before, so really pleased at capturing a handful of great images.Time

I use a Canon EOS 2000D and 18-55mm lens. No filters or tripod were used.Inspiration
For months now I’ve seen the surfers when driving past or watched them in a dull and windy day. This particular day seemed perfect especially as there were so many of them out together.Editing
I don’t actually shoot in Raw and editing needed minimal adjustment.In my camera bag

You need to think about where to position yourself in order to get the best action shots; patience as it takes time for anything to happen, and try different settings as I like to experiment on a shoot and see how it alters the image afterwards.
