I took this on a trip in Scotland on a trip to golf at St. Andrew's public course.Time
It was around mid day, we had just stopped for lunch when I came across this delightful piece of history.Lighting
The ambient lighting was very diffuse due to cloud coverage.Equipment
Cannon EOS 650 freehand using Kodak ASA400, and a 50 mm lens.Inspiration
In Canada, we do not get to see this type of ruin since there were little to no such works of that age.Editing
Most of my images have no processing other than cropping.In my camera bag
I artistically chose to only have the Cannon EOS 650, a 50 mm lens, a small flash, a rose circular polarized filter, and a tripod.Feedback
I took many physical risks getting 'the shot' without any telephoto lenses. Make sure you take precautions.
