This photo was taken in my Las Vegas studio as part of a series.Time
This was an indoor evening shoot. This shoot was designed for the model to move around freely, dance and play. She was great and really got into the mood of the moment. She grabbed my glasses, propped that melting clock on her shoulder, and gave me a priceless expression for this shot.Lighting
I shot with two Alien Bees strobe units in soft boxes with a green screen, although I didn't end up changing the green screen.Equipment
This was shot on a Canon 6D with a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens with a 35mm focal length at ISO 100 and shutter speed of 125 at f/14.Inspiration
This was my first attempt at an erotic Alice in Wonderland themed series. I wanted to explore sensuality and humor in that environment, as well as testing my creative skills.Editing
I have developed a multi-step process to creative an expressive art image. I wasn't satisfied with the plugins and presets that add painting elements to a photograph. I wanted more control and options than they could provide. In my camera bag
I carry a Manfrotto travel tripod, 50mm and 85mm prime lenses, 70-300mm zoom lense, and 17-40mm wide angle for landscapes.Feedback
Set up your shot so you don't have to think about the technical aspects, then make your model comfortable and give her the freedom to experiment and create along with you.
