Location
Our area in the northern Midwest had a run of flash storms the week I took this shot. I was on my way home during one of them and drove straight to the lakeshore.Time
I reached the green space above the cliff just before the sun set.Lighting
There was no manipulation. I attempted to capture the authentic, fresh energy of the after-storm on this hillside.Equipment

Honestly, I've let photography slide with the added demands that we're all navigating this year. This evening on my drive home I was compelled to drop my normal routine and turned right instead of left. I couldn't resist the urge to search out a take-away of that evening.Editing

Don't ignore your gut or that little nudge to take the time. It's trite but true...stop and let your eye find the capture. There is no image so small that it doesn't tell a story.
