Behind The Lens
Location
At the Australian National Botanical Gardens ACT.Time
Around mid-morning.Lighting
The sun was bright and the colours of the surrounding flora were very vivid but the butterflies colours complimented them.Equipment
A Sony ILCE7 camera with a Sony 55- 210mm lens.Inspiration
The butterfly flew in front of me and perched on the everlasting daisy I was photographing. I took the photo because I had never seen a butterfly like this and it was so calm and peaceful feeding on the everlasting daisy.Editing
A gentle edit in light room to lessen the glare from the sun.In my camera bag
My Sony ILCE7, my trustee Sony 55 -210mm lens and a Sony 30mm macro lens.Feedback
Aim your focus at the eye of the butterfly. If i had the time, I would have used my macro lens to enhance the details.
