Wow. I don't see the prop. Did he leave the cockpit with this Fokker's engine running?

I looked into why the aircraft may have not had a prop on. While I was off taking pictures of a tank re-enactment He had a crash prop first into the grass. The whole crash is on you tube if you type in red baron crash emu gully.
