I love Zoo photography! My thinking is I'll probably never take a safari, so the zoo is better than nothing. This was taken at the Dallas Zoo and is one of a number of great shots I got that day. With my long lenses I can get in close and get great detail. Its like there is no bars to hold me back. I admit I like gorillas the best due to their human like features and behaviors.Time
Early afternoon, but always try to capture the shot in even lighting and shade is the best with the Texas sun.Lighting
