I took this photo in a field at the edge of our village.Time
We were walking the dogs in the middle of the afternoon and the sun was just right.Lighting

The field had been left fallow, so there were more accessible poppies this year. They were perfectly in bloom and I wanted to capture the beautiful deep red against the jet black of the centre.Editing
