Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Skagway, Alaska. We were on train ride headed towards Canada!

Time

I think it was taken in the late morning. This was our first excursion that day and one of my favorites of the whole vacation!

Lighting

The lighting was a bit bright but it was fairly cloudy, interesting? Reflection from the clouds?

Equipment

I used my trusty ole iPhone X. One day I may upgrade.

Inspiration

It’s just pure beauty to me. So calming and scenic. It really is Soothing Scenic Skagway. A gorgeous place!

Editing

I did do some work on this photograph but I’m not 100% sure what I did. I just mess with all the options until I get the picture to look how I think looks best.

In my camera bag

I don’t usually have equipment on me. I’m pretty amateur.

Feedback

Pay attention to details. Symmetry, curvatures, and contrast. I believe that was my main focus here.
