Behind The Lens

Location

I was wondering around on the west side of the Saguaro National Park just outside of Tucson, AZ, when I saw the owl perched looking for prey.

Time

It was near dusk on an overcast day.

Lighting

The light was defused enough that the owl came out early.

Equipment

Nikon D3000 with a Tamron 80-200mm lens.

Inspiration

It is unusual to see the horned owls out while I was walking and it looked so picturesque and took my breath away that I knew I needed to preserve and share it.

Editing

No post processing.

In my camera bag

Nikon D3400, nikkor lens 18-55 mm and 70-200 mm. Water bottles, a hair tie, sunscreen, and a snack.
