I took my pregnant wife for a short drive to the Cameron area of Arizona, on the way back we loved the view of the peaks and wondered what it would look like from above. So we sent up our drone, right around 400 feet above us just to see what we got.Time
We shot this around 2:30 Pm on a bright clear sunny day, not normally the best time for lighting as everything tends to be so harsh but with a drone and the smallerish sensor, it makes things not so rough on the eyes.Lighting
as straight forward and scary as lighting gets direct mid-day sun, thankfully from 400 feet up and the sun off right a bit we were able to get a beautiful view.Equipment

We loved the way the mountains near our home town looked from the road, since I had the drone with us and a bit of battery left it was game on to try and get a shot from above.Editing
There's a bit of post-processing on this photo, some adjustment to the shadows, highlights, saturation, and gamma were needed with the mid-day sun.In my camera bag
Typically I'll have my Autel Evo 2 drone and my sony A5100 camera with me just in case. For video I also take along my Gopro just to see what interesting things I can capture.Feedback
Go out and do it, you'll get a lot of crappy photos or videos but it will be worth it in the end for that one great shot or that one video that you feel proud to have made. While your out just shoot everything you can!
