Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in Flagstaff, Arizona! It was a really windy day, and I had fallen behind a little bit on the hike with my friend and her new baby, I figured this was the chance to take a great picture of her and her dogs as they walked!

Time

It was probably around 3 in the afternoon. The sun was really mild on the side of the mountain we were on.

Lighting

I really wanted to highlight the path and the mountains! So I just tried to use the natural lighting available to me!

Equipment

This was shot with a Canon 6D Mark II, free handed.

Inspiration

It was a great opportunity to just get my friend as her dogs, since she had a new baby

Editing

I actually didn’t have to do a lot of processing, I got really lucky with this shot!

In my camera bag

I usually carry a couple key lenses like my wide angle, my 85mm and my 50mm, and then I ALWAYS have extra batteries
