Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken at home in the kitchen while in lockdown. It was a great way to keep active in isolation. I was experimenting with dropping flowers into soda water

Time

The time of day was midday

Lighting

Natural light streamed through the window which was captured by some of the droplets

Equipment

I took the photo with my OLYMPUS E-M1MarkII camera. I used my tripod. the settings were: Aperture 8/1 ISO 3200 Shutter 1/40 Focal Length 60/1?

Inspiration

I have previously taken photos of flowers in frozen water and in speaking with another photographer they had suggested soda water. So I decided to try it

Editing

My post processing tends to be some minor cropping sharpening and saturation

In my camera bag

I usually take my pro lens possible my macro lens and if I am going out to take long exposure shots I will take my tripod

Feedback

I can highly recommend having fun with soda water
