Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken near my home in Hutto, TX. The tree is located in a flood retention pond that full from recent rains.

Time

This was taken in the morning just after sunrise.

Lighting

This photo was taken using natural light.

Equipment

I used my IPhone Xr and Snapseed to edit the photo.

Inspiration

The idea that each tree in this world is its own island. It’s own ecosystem.

Editing

I used Snapseed to add some contrast as well as some vignette.

In my camera bag

Nowadays I just have my IPhone.

Feedback

Always try to frame a shot from different perspectives. The rule of thirds always makes a photo more interesting.
