Uni Project

A very serious Quinn, think she had enough of me taking pictures, but it created a great shot.

Behind The Lens

Location

I live in plymouth and during the covid19 lockdown my son was playing by the pool.

Time

It was aboit 2pm and the weather was very hot and sunny.

Lighting

The sun was high and bright, i used the surrounding to reduce the light hitting his face, and of course his hair helped.

Equipment

I used a 50mm Nikon lens and a nikon D810.

Inspiration

Just having fun with my boy.

Editing

I processed the image into black and white as I love the feeling and emotion it transmits.

In my camera bag

Nikon D810 Nikon 50mm prime lens Sigma 70-200mm Speedlights Or in studio, godox or elichrom lighting equipment.

Feedback

just enjoy the camera and play with light and shadows on your subject. Remember, get it right in shot and you dont have to fake it in PS ;-)
