Behind The Lens

Location

I took it in a public garden.

Time

I took this photo at about 8.00 AM. This is probably one of my best photos, since I am only a beginner, I am still learning how to improve to take better photos.

Lighting

It was still early in the day, and the sun was not shining so bright, beside that the flower was under a tree and it was the right moment to take the photo without making the photo over-exposed.

Equipment

The camera I used is Canon Rebel T1i / EOS 500D. My lens was 50mm, F/1.8, ISO 100, White balance: Auto, Metering mode: Matrix.

Inspiration

I like flowers and I wanted to try to shoot with my new 50mm lens and try my first bokeh photo and it came fine. I love the way it came out.

Editing

I did not do any post processing as I do not know how to do it yet. I still have to learn post processing. When this corona virus ends I will surely have some lessons about it. Since I am a vulnerable person I cannot go out as much as I want.

In my camera bag

I only carry my camera with my 18-55 mm lens plus the 18-135 mm and the 50 mm lenses, in my bag.

Feedback

taking photos of flowers is my passion and it sure helped me to improve in photography and get more confidence in myself that I could do better.
