Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken at the beginning of the quarantine lock down so I took it in my garage.
Time
Late afternoon
Lighting
I used two Profoto b1 lights and an LED stage light for creative effect.
Equipment
Canon 1DX, 16-35mm, Profoto B1 lights
Inspiration
The COVID apocalypse that we all entered in the beginning of March 2020. It was all unknown in the beginning so in stead of panicking we got “ready for anything!” and i pulled out my camera!
Editing
In order to get the dramatic affect I wanted, I had to use Photoshop compositing. At the time, toilet paper and sanitizer was very scarce so most of this was photo shopped in!
In my camera bag
My canon 1DX, my 50mm, 16-35mm, 70-200mm. Profoto remote. Gels.
Feedback
Start in a darker room so you have better control of your light in your environment.Make sure you have lights it behind your subjects, and at least one in front to create a more cinematic effect.
