Behind The Lens
Location
This Photo was Taken off of Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah Mountains of VirginiaTime
This photo was taken Mid afternoon. The sun was behind me as it was on it's way downLighting
As is the case with all my work I prefer to use all natural lighting and prefer to allow that to set the tone of the pictureEquipment
Canon T5I Camera 16-55mm Zoom lensInspiration
As I was walking thru the fields I saw this butterfly sitting on this flower and positioned myself to take this shotEditing
There is no Post Processing involved in this photoIn my camera bag
Currently I have my Canon T5I Rebel with an 18-55 Canon zoom and a Canon 75-300MM Zoom 4-5.6 I have a couple of filters allowing me to make quick changes in varying conditions. I also keep a Nikon L840 Point and Shoot. This allows me flexibility on my on other cameraFeedback
This is probably the hardest question. I would say that patience and timing on any particular picture. Any picture is created by the opportunity that arises at that moment & the ability to capture these moments on a consistent basis is the key behind being a good photographer. I am pursuing this later in my life due to the fact that my work is capturing peoples imaginations. That alone is enough incentive to pursue my dreams
