I visited Kerry last Friday for a first time this year and it was really amazing experience. I love being out there. Especially on my favourite Dingle Peninsula. I've been to Dunmore Head twice before but I was more focusing on the beach nearby. This time I decided to walk to the top of the Head to be the furthest west possible. :-).Trip was very exhausting with 850 km drive (8h) and staying awake for 40h with only 3h sleep in the car. It was a long going but when you see the effort is paid off there is no place for regret. I had good company too which made it easier as friend of mine Mihaily from North joined me for adventure. After poor morning at Upper lake in Killarney we were hoping for good sunset in Dingle. Standing on these spiky rocks with a bit of place for feet only and waves crashing around you is most amazing experience. Sunset was beautiful with warm, fantastic side light and plenty of different composition opportunities.
