Behind The Lens

Location

In Stanwood Washington, in my country yard.

Time

Early morning at the break of day, when it's quiet and all you hear are the birds chirping.

Lighting

I really enjoy using natural lighting as much as possible and that morning we had great lighting.

Equipment

Nikon D850 with a AF-S Nikon 28-300mm lens, no other Equipment.

Inspiration

I am a early riser, so when I get up I love to go outside and walk around the yard. The day I took that photo we had a light rain and the colors of the tulips in the morning light caught my eye! So, I ran back in the house and grabbed my camera so I could have some fun!

Editing

No

In my camera bag

Nikon D850 and my old Nikon D700 Lens: Nikkor 50mm 1:1.4 G, Nikon 28-300mm 3.5-5.6 G ED VR, Tamron 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2, Tamron 150-600 F/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2, & a wide angle Postmaster 11-18mm 4.5-5.6 77

Feedback

Morning and Evening light are my favorite times to capture natural lighting, being a hobbyist photographer, I seem to get a lot of success at both of those times of day. Just have fun!
