A 21 foot from hoof to hoof and more than 11 feet tall statue of Secretariat (March 30, 1970 – October 4, 1989) an American Thoroughbred racehorse and jockey Ron Turcotte who, in 1973, became the first Triple Crown winner in 25 years. His record-breaking victory in the Belmont Stakes, which he won by 31 lengths (248 feet (76 m), is widely regarded as one of the greatest races in history. The 3,800-pound statue was installed at Alexandria Drive and Old Frankfort Pike in Lexington, KY.
