Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my backyard. I couldn't resist grabbing my camera and snapping some photos when I saw how the dew was so delicately hanging on the petals.

Time

Great question! This was taken in early morning just after sunrise.

Lighting

There really isn't anything special about the lighting other than it being in natural light. As the sun peaked just high enough, it illuminated the petals of my potted Dahlias and the morning dew as it rested on the petals.

Equipment

This was shot with my Sony CyberShot. I didn't try to over complicate things.

Inspiration

What's not to inspire? The lighting and the water in the color of the flower was a perfect set up!

Editing

Post processing. Very little is done on this. I brought up the shadows and adjusted the highlights. Not much else was needed.

In my camera bag

Batteries. Lenses, cleaning. Extra SD cards, you know, normal stuff.
