Behind The Lens

Location

This photo is one of my favorite, it was shoot at the seeside of the town Klagenfurt am Worthersee, a very nice town in Carinthia Austria.

Time

It was almost golden hour when i started to notice that the clouds are changing colors, so i grabbed my camera and started to walk towards the lake..

Lighting

I have already planned the frame on the way out, and there i was in front of the big lake were was peace and quiet, clouds were moving slowlly and the light was going down, so i wanted to memorise a touch of colorful silence.

Equipment

This was shot with a Nikon D3300 and Sigma 10 20mm F4-5.6, on a Manfroto tripod.

Inspiration

I have seen so many photos from this location, and i wanted one as well to hang it on the wall, so i waited until the perfect conditions arrived to take my chance, the moment i saw it on my camera, i knew it was perfect.

Editing

Post processing is not my best friend, so i try to do my best straight out of camera, this photo had suffered a few minor adjusmnets in PS camera raw, and that was about it.

In my camera bag

As i like to travel alot, i usually keep my bag as light as posibile, so i have my Nikon Z6 and 24 70mm f4 for landscape , Nikkor 70 300mm ED VR for some wildlife and my Nikkor 60mm and Raynox 250 for my Macro. A good steady tripod and some filters, it also depends on what i'm planning to shot

Feedback

Look up and be patient, good things will allways follow. Stay safe
