Location

This was taken in my garden during lockdown. I was trying to find different subjects to photograph given the limited opportunities at the time

Time

This was taken during the afternoon in April

Lighting

I was looking to close to the subject but also ensuring a good background. Very pleased with the contrast of the colour of the flower and blue of the sky.

Equipment

Sony A57 Camera Minolta AF zoom 75-300 Hand held

Inspiration

I was missing getting out and about taking photos, so decided to walk around the garden to see if I could get any decent photos closer to home.

Editing

Yes - have tweaked the colours to get them more vivid

Camera, standard lens and zoom lens. Sometimes a tripod
