Location
This is an image I composed after watching a YouTube video on photography you can do whilst in Lockdown. I was shooting product photoshoots and this led me to use other objects. Since I had my black reflective perspex sheet to hand I thought flowers might project their colour in mirror image, so I decided to make both flowers seen I included the use of a flat, rounded each stone, used to add height and separation to the flowers portrayed in my final outcome shown here.Time
I took some shots at different times, but after reflection I found that whilst the sun was setting in the evening it made a more prominent light source. I also ised a reflector to bounce back the light.Lighting
I took the image using both natural sun set lighting available at the time and also used on camera fill in flash and a carefully placed reflector. The Reflector was set-up to be part of background.Equipment
A Eos Canon 5D Mark ii and a Tamron 70-300mm lens, set at around 200mm on macro mode. A Canon 430 exii flash, cheap tripod, and a circular reflector / black perspex reflective sheet.Inspiration
YouTube video watched, and by doing carefully arranged earlier experimentations .Editing
With this particular image the only thing I did was to crop it slightly of at edges as I felt too much space and base perspex sheet was showing around my reflected flowers shown. In my camera bag
Battery's x2, Basic cheap tripod, my Canon 5d mark ii and a Canon 200D, 2-4 memory cards of both SD and CF, Canon 430exii Flash, Remote shutter release/ Interverlometer and Triopo Magdome - Colour Filters x4, Reflector, Honeycomb, Diffuser Ball flash light attachment kit, and a lens cleaning cloth or kit.Feedback
Photograph on a secure small surface and use as much natural sourced light as possible, directed by placing reflector as background. Rise a reflective surface as adds more detailing to the finished resulting art works produced.
