Location
I live on the shores of beautiful Georgian Bay, in Ontario, Canada. There are always great opportunities to see wildlife, just outside my doors.Time
From the clarity of the reflections of the geese in the puddle, I am guessing mid to later part of the afternoon.Lighting
I took the photo because I was so surprised to see the geese there, at that time of year. They usually do not return, until there is open water, but perhaps it was just a place to stop, and “reflect” for a moment. I remember the reflections shimmering on the water surface, and thought, I hope they stay there till I can take a picture!Equipment

I am always looking for something different to share, when it comes to animal photos. I look for a different posturing of an animal, or seeing it in a slightly different environment, from where you might normally see it, or as in this photo, with the reflections, getting 4 visuals, instead of 2.Editing

Batteries of course, a nice couple of lenses. That said, have been getting more captures with my iPhone, because I always have my phone on me. Because the camera is heavy, and am just recovering from having my entire cervical spine reconstructed, less is more.Feedback
Look for the unusual, go outside the comfort zone of trying to take the usual portrait shot. See beauty in the odd, the unusual, the unexpected. That is where I find that magic happens!
