Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in the beautiful old Quebec of rue Saint-Pierre and the street under the fort during the pandemic I am a self-taught photographer so I learn new things from time to time

Time

this is probably one of my favorite images I remember going for a walk in old quebec on this beautiful sunny day during the pandemic I said to myself this morning I am going to take pictures because normally this street is very popular but given the pandemic there was nobody there so I was able to take some nice pictures it was one of the most beautiful day to take pictures like this one taken on March 21, 2020 at 1:51 p.m.

Lighting

I would like this photo to be dramatic which would make the story even more intriguing what to say about natural light is perfect to have beautiful results I wanted a story on my image

Equipment

This picture was taken using a Canon T6I and a 18-5 f/6 lens. No other equipment WAS used.*****

Inspiration

I was looking for a beautiful place to take beautiful photos of Quebec City, being a resident of Quebec, I take this opportunity to take beautiful photos in my city if you think about it there are plenty of tourists who come to visit Quebec and me I I'm honored to live in this beautiful city and especially when I took this photo It's because my cousin from Florida told me about this particular street in Quebec City that's what inspired me to take photos in Old Quebec because her mother was a native of Quebec and she loved this street there. This is what inspired me to take this photo and many others

Editing

I always do a post-processing on my photos because I always like working on my photos that I take examples of things that I do when I go post-processing the cropping black and white exposure and much more starting my photo was in color and not black and white and that I liked my photo better in black and white than in color

In my camera bag

First and foremost, I always pack one of my camera devices. Additionally, I will bring my three lenses (18-55mm, 55-250 mm and 75-300mm), my camera flash and, lastly, I make sure to bring extra batteries in my camera bag in case of an emergency.

Feedback

One piece of advice I think I can give is be patient wait for the right time and try to plan the way I really want my photo what do I want in my photo be responsive don't take the color photo initially and put it in black and white afterwards because I noticed that to modify with software and to take the picture directly from the camera the colors and other sound not the same and the most important is to have fun doing of the picture
