This photo was taken during a Superbike race at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugalin September 2012. During a Photography Training for Colorfoto and Canon Portugal.Time
The photo was taken at exactly 17:23Lighting
Portugal is a country with incredible light, outdoor photos rarely use artificial light even at the end of the dayEquipment
Nesta foto usei a minha velha e fiél amiga Canon 7D com uma Aperture f/5.6?ISO 400?Shutter 1/160?Focal Length 269/1Inspiration
The story of this photo begins with me when I realize that I had forgotten my memory cards in the room for photographers. When I left the room that was on the first floor I started to hear several clicks and as that area is not so normal since it is in the back of the official boxes, I arrived at the counter and noticed that all the official photographers of the event were in the below to approach a group of pit babes from a night bar in the Algarve, the Royal Teaser, to take some pictures. If I went with them I would lose a lot of time and I would certainly miss a good photo, so I decided to shoot from top to bottom, lucky me, the Pit Babes liked it and they all turned to me and I managed to do some spectacular photos.Editing
The only treatment I gave in this photo was to start in black and white. In my camera bag
At this moment I shoot more with a Canon 6D MKII, with a 6D, 5D MKII and faithful friend 7D that I normally use more in photography with a SPL water housing. I usually use my war lens a lot, an EF24-105mm F4L IS USM, I also use the faithful EF70-200mm F2.8L IS USM. I have more lenses but for more specific jobsFeedback
My passion is photojournalism, documentary photography and everything that can transport those who see the photo at the moment it was taken. What I advise is to photograph a lot, on the streets, in places and situations that you cannot program and of course study the best plan well and make the right decision at the right time.
