Location
This photo was taken in the Spring of 2020 just outside of my home.Time
I took this picture in the early afternoon, about 1-2 pm if I remember.Lighting
The lighting conditions were perfect. The sun was just over my left shoulder and so it was actually back lighting the bee a bit.Equipment
I wanted an excuse to use my new 35 mm lens I had just purchased.....what a payoff shot!Inspiration
I had seen these bees on the tree earlier in the day as I walked by and thought it would make an interesting photo.Editing
No post processing at all....what you see in all 100% from the camera image. In my camera bag
I have a Nikon D7200 with 35 mm, 50 mm and an 55-200 zoom. Also have Tripod and mono pod.Feedback
High shutter speed, somewhere around 1/1000 or higher. Remember, the faster the shutter speed, the more light you need for exposure, so youll want to experiment with ISO and aperature as well. Keep your ISO as low as possible to avoid a grainy picture.
