Location
This photo was taken in my backyard. I am lucky to be in a wooded area where lots of birds enjoy the diverse plants and trees.Time
This photo is a favorite of mine, the Bluebird flew up to the branch and just posed for me to get this capture.Lighting
I was luck that the light was just in the right spot when this little bird landed on the branch.Equipment
This is a handheld capture shot with a Sony A6300 with a 100-400 GM Sony lens.Inspiration
I'm always looking to get great captures of birds.Editing
This photo was cropped with very little other processing. In my camera bag
Most times I'm shooting handheld and the Sony A6300 is small and light to carry so this is my favorite camera. It takes great photos and is small especially for little hands. Now adding a 100-400 lens which I most always have because I shoot a lot of birds, makes it a little heavy so for some I would recommend a tripod. I also carry a Zeiss 50mm which takes beautiful photos for landscape. The last lens I carry is the Sony FE 24-105 which is also a great lens for walking around.Feedback
The only advice I can give for bird captures is Patience. Happy shooting!
