Behind The Lens

Location

This image was taken in the room of the upscale hotel in Annapolis, MD.

Time

This was shot in the afternoon.

Lighting

Lighted by the window light of North facing window.

Equipment

Shot on Nikon D800 camera with 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.

Inspiration

Inspired by the wide range of portraits shot in the first half of the 20th century.

Editing

This image has been cropped and converted to black and white. There is no other post-processing on the image.

In my camera bag

My bag usually has one of the Nikon bodies (either a D800 or D850), Nikkor 24-70 f/2.8, Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8.

Feedback

Look for diffused light from the windows, turn your subject side to side till the desired light pattern is not obtained.
