Location

The photo was taken on a road trip to Mt. Rainier in 2016. It is my favorite place to visit.

Time

I got this shot around midday, on the drive to Paradise. I took so many shots that day, but this one captures the grandeur of the mountain!

Lighting

Make sure to not have the sun in your face when taking big photos like this. It’s better to have it at your back or directly above.

I felt like the open road with the dominating mountain before it lent a certain authentic traveler’s delight.
