This may look like Winter. To us it felt like Spring. March 15 was the first day of above-freezing temperatures since November 28, and it felt great to get out in the sunlight after a cold and sedentary Winter. This photo was shot on the boreal forest trail at Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge in Fairbanks, Alaska. The trail was covered in approximately eight inches of hard packed snow -- it is used year round, and is a must see if you visit Fairbanks in any season.
