Fjordenhus, Vejl DK (main entrance from below)

Fjordenhus is a beautiful sculptural building placed within the inlet of Vejle, Denmark itself. The design is inspired by the powerful connection between the inlet and the air. The wavy exterior (from building design to windows) are combined with a carefully placement of blue and green bricks symbolizing air and water. With the majority of blue brick in the top part of the building design and the majority of green bricks in the bottom of the building, near the water.

The building consist of four ground level rooms each with a sculptural design element.

When you walk into the first room you pass this vault that rises above your head. It's a magnificent sight. What I like about this angle is how the wavy and round shapes of warm colored bricks merged with scare windows and cold material as concrete.
