So this photograph has been shot in a studio which is actually a makeup academy based here in MumbaiTime
well it was the early hrs during the afternoon when the pic has been shot ideally when we are confined in the 4 walls of the studio we completely forget about the timeLighting
Well this was a one Big Octa light setup that I have used for this lighting and I love the way how the light is been seeing in the eyes which is again very subtle and gives it a perfect tonal value is what I would have to say towards this and the eyes actually start looking like pearls and the best part is even though its a one light setup I have not compromised on not letting the texture come out which gives an overall mood to the pic is what i would have to sayEquipment
I use a Canon 5D Mark III with a 24-105mm lens which is a F/4Inspiration
Well what inspired me to take this shot was that for the very first time i was shooting with a set of mua who became my muses for the shoot and my only main important motive was to make them look amazing and I guess even though they are not trained models they did a pretty good job and as you can see the final output it looks great I guess there are a lot of factors involved which makes the picture look great tooEditing
Yes Post Processing had been done but upto a very limited extent to open it up a lil and just play a bit with the highlights, contrast and shadows which has given me the lovely picand originally the pic had a lot of breathing space I have infact cropped it to a position where i liked the way the pic was popping out in its own wayIn my camera bag
So I do not have a a lot of fancy equipment but yes I have my canon 5d body with my 24-105 mm lens and sometimes i even carry my 550d body which is with the 55-250 mm lens if i wish to shoot some telephoto shotsFeedback
The only advice i can give is that there is a lot of pre planning that happens before the shoot i guess as a creative artist if we know what we are looking for and can bring our visual imagination to life then we have achieved it I guess we just need to push ourselves and keep trying
