The feeder is out of view. They are quick but for a second or 2 they are perfectly still other then the wings

Out of the frame is a bee which the hummer is doing battle with to protect his food source

Taken at the Roxbury Land trust in Roxbury CT. It was early morning and the lake reflected as if it were a mirror. No photo shop here....nature needs

Everything around this tree had dropped it leaves or was drab. De-saturating all around it made it pop!

Had a few minutes for the crowd to clear as the sun set and skyline bldgs reflected in the gigantic Christmas ball in front of radio City Music Hall

Triplet eagles just fledged and mom & dad keeping a watchful eye out

This owl put on quite a display of how to hunt in an open field
