Behind The Lens

Location

This waterfall is in Pisgah National Forest. It’s about 30 minutes from Mount Mitchell State Park.

Time

The only time of day I could go was midday, but it was cloudy so it worked out.

Lighting

Because it was cloudy and in the shade, I was able to take a long exposure shot without a filter.

Equipment

I used a Canon 1300d camera, 18-250mm lens, a cheap tripod and no flash.

Inspiration

Waterfalls may be my favorite photography subject, and I love how this one is crooked and goes from one side of the frame to the other

Editing

I used Luminar 4 to edit this photo.

In my camera bag

Canon 1300d, PowerShot G7X Mark ll, 3 different lenses, a flash, soft box, extra batteries and chargers.

Feedback

Good light and a long exposure!
