During T.S. Beryl, my street became part of the river. Here, I am standing on a raised part of grass, shooting down my street to where it ends at the river (which looks like a raging ocean) which is normally contained by an embankment. It had easily overflowed its banks and headed up ALL side streets into the city. We were surrounded by water for 3 days.
