Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on a very windy morning in March on South Beach, Miami as the COVID-19 Pandemic was beginning to shut down everything. The light coming out of the clouds was a reminder that there is hope even after the darkness and storms...

Time

Mid morning (10-11 a.m.)

Lighting

The natural light despite the darkness in the sky was perfect for this image.

Equipment

Canon 6D with my 55-250 lens.

Inspiration

I enjoy capturing images that are devoid of humans and man-made items so this is my favorite type of image to capture.

Editing

I don’t ever use any effects or post processing on my nature images.

In my camera bag

I don’t have a standard of equipment in my bag, it literally varies for each event!

Feedback

Let it happen organically, always carry a camera but you never know when that perfect moment can come. I literally stopped on a Highway shoulder once to grab a photo.
