This US fighter plane was the mainstay of American fighter aircraft at the beginning of World War ll. It is painted in the scheme used by the "Flying Tigers" who fought the Japanese in the China and Burma areas of operation. The airplane is displayed at the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum.
