Located on Ford Island (Moku'me'ume) in Pearl Harbor, this 158-foot tower served as a water storage site, and later as an aircraft control tower. At the time of the 7 December 1941 attack by the Empire of Japan, the tower was still under construction. Once completed, the tower was painted in a camouflage color scheme. The red and white paint scheme came about in the 1960s.
