This is the fifth family (with two eaglets) this couple has raised in the San Gabriel Mountains. The officials enforced a rule everyone has to stay at least 700 ft from the nest. This shot was taken using a Sony A9 with a Canon 600 mm f-4 +2x extender V.II +2x Extender v.III with a Sigma MC11 adapter. Total focal length was a whopping 2400mm.
