Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken during a time when dining in was normal and shrimp po-boys were on special!

Time

This was taken during a busy dinner rush, around 6 pm.

Lighting

I was lucky enough to score a table right next to a huge window which created the perfect lighting to show of the texture of this po-boy.

Equipment

I just used my old trusty Canon Rebel! I wasn’t expecting to take any pictures but just happened to have had my camera on me.

Inspiration

The beautiful lighting. The window lighting really made the texture of the food stand out.

Editing

I didn’t have to touch much but I did edit it in Lightroom a little bit with some minor edits. I went in and fixed the exposure, highlights and shadows mostly.

In my camera bag

I normally pack my Canon, Nikon and some of my usual lens. I always bring a 50mm, 85mm and a 35mm! Normally, I like to grab my tripod as well.

Feedback

If you can grab a window seat - DO IT! If not, you can always achieve something similar with an outside source of light and additional editing!
