While driving through the Pielansberg Game Reserve, we approached a bend in the dirt road we were on. Up ahead we heard a commotion that sounded like elephants. As we got around the bend a herd of elephants stood blocking the entire road. They were restless so we kept a good distance. Suddenly the driver noticed this big bull come out of the Bush behind us, walking I our direction. His ears were flapping and his trunk was up. I snapped of a few shots, this was one of them. But it was stressful, he was behind us and the heard was ahead. We eventually found a way around the herd, lucky we were in a 4x4 vehicle.
