Behind The Lens

Location

In a photo studio in Vienna where I live. These studio belongs to a photo store called "Digital store".

Time

I think these is not important because I was in a studio :)

Lighting

I have used a single light in a big octobox, nothing complicated. I like to keep things simple and efficient.

Equipment

For these shoot I have used my trusty Olympus M1x and a olympus 45mm f1. 8.

Inspiration

I was looking for a clasic look that it was so popular in the old Hollywood movies.

Editing

The original image was in color but because I like it more in B&W and it helps the theme better, I made the conversion in B&W. As for the skin part I did some minor retouching.

In my camera bag

I got my Olympus M1x, Olympus M 10 Mark 3 plus olympus: 75mm f1. 8, 45mm f1. 8, 12-40mm f2. 8, 40-150mm 4-5.6 and the cheep 9mm f8.

Feedback

Just keep it simple with one light and make some minor adjustments with a white or black reflector. Trey to make the best out of any pose but be sure to experience the clasic posing for portraits.
